All of the villas are completely self-contained and secured, with private entrances linked by a walled lane lined with spider lilies and green foliage. The close proximity of the three properties means that the complex is ideal for larger groups of people, or families, who want to be close to each other while still retaining an element of independence and privacy.

Villa Imani One
Imani One is a single-storey 2-bedroom villa comprised of two thatched pavilions positioned around a 5 x 8 meter lap pool within a walled courtyard garden.

As guests enter the garden, they will traverse an ornamental pond, complete with lilies and bubbling water features in twin pots; the pond links the pool and the open-air living pavilion. Stepping stones lead across a pebbled pathway, and an outdoor rain shower is located within a walled area to one side, where there is also a bench seat. A timber sundeck extends from the pool to the sleeping pavilion, there are two sun beds, and the pretty garden is planted with palms, frangipani trees, spider lilies and heliconia.

Villa Imani Two
Imani Two is a single-storey 2-bedroom villa comprised of two thatched pavilions positioned on opposite sides of a 4.5 x 8 meter lap pool, within a walled courtyard garden.

A timber sundeck extends from the pool to the open-air living pavilion, two sun beds are provided, and the pretty garden is characterized by a flat green lawn planted with fragrant flowering frangipani trees, pandanus, palm, spider lilies and heliconia.

Villa Imani Three
Imani Three is the largest of the three villas in the complex, boasting an additional bedroom and an upstairs library presenting breathtaking views of the rice fields and mountains. The 3-bedroom villa is built in the style of a traditional Balinese compound house. It features four separate thatched pavilions positioned around a large 5 x 16 meter lap pool, within a walled courtyard garden.

A spacious square shaped timber sundeck, furnished with sun beds, extends from one side of the pool; two gazebo relaxation pavilions are located on the other side, and a stone terrace borders the Master Bedroom. The swimming pool is lined with aquamarine Java stone and is fed by a bubbling whirlpool positioned at one end.

Villa Arwana Accommodation
Architecturally the property is split into two distinct structures that are almost identical.

Both are two storey dwellings showcasing the aesthetics of local design without compromising home comforts and conveniences. To the left is Villa 1, which is characterized by an open-plan kitchen and an oversized dining table catering to 10 guests in a social situation. While Villa 2 on the right uses the same area as a tastefully appointed indoor living room with a cushioned sofa to relax quietly alone or with a partner. All indoor and outdoor furnishings have been commissioned by Lio Collection and each building features an iPod dock as well as every other modern facility that guests would expect from a property of this calibre.

Restful Slumber
Villa Arwana has been designed to accommodate up to eight adult guests with plenty of space for everyone to enjoy their own privacy. A master bedroom with an indulging semi-open en-suite bathroom and terrazzo tub is located on the ground floor of each dwelling. The upstairs of each villa structure also features an additional bedroom suite with its own spa styled bathroom facilities and dressing alcove. Every bedroom is equipped with satellite television for personal viewing pleasure.

Terrace Luxury
The showpiece of Villa Arwana is a pair of matching rooftop terraces. The open-air edge of each terrace is elevated to take in the tranquil beauty of the garden below and glimpses of rice terraces in the distance. Each has a small table setting for alfresco dining to capture the whisper of afternoon breeze or twinkle of evening starlight. A built-in sofa with a scattering of colourful cushion makes a cosy niche for a lazy midday siesta. While a generous sized cold water Jacuzzi rests beneath a traditionally thatched rooftop to luxuriously soak away the pressures of modern living.

The focal point of the garden is a refreshing infinity edge swimming pool (10m x 6m) encompassed by timber decking and a pair of thatched gazebos proving a shady spot to escape the heat. Several reclining loungers are strategically positioned around the pool to embrace the sun’s tropical warmth.

Villa Arwana comes equipped with a BBQ facility and outdoor dining can be set up to cater for up to 8 guests with or without a tented canopy overhead. This entire space lends itself to intimate weddings, birthdays and other small scale social gatherings. The garden seamlessly blends into the surrounding environment and the sound of water from the river below enhances the overall serenity of this charming setting.

Villa Arwana Staff
Villa Arwana is fully staffed and efficiently run by a House Manager with support from a Housekeeper, Gardener/Pool Attendant and a Security team to safeguard the property around the clock. A well trained Cook is also available for the preparation of local and international cuisine. A choice of menus is provided and this service is inclusive of all grocery shopping. All food preparation is done in a separate wet kitchen and meals can be served in several spots throughout the property.

The villa was designed by the acclaimed architect Ross Franklin from New Zealand, who was honoured in many decoration and architecture magazines in promoting contemporary Balinese architecture in its proper way (like the famous Avatara in Tanah Lot). The style of the villa is contemporary and elegant; a group of eight or ten people can stay at the house, very comfortably, without encroaching on each others’ space. It was specifically designed to maximise the wonderful panoramic views, and offers the ultimate in private luxury for those who seek tranquillity combined with a high standard of service.

Villa Bahagia Accommodation
The peaceful Villa Bahagia is a luxury Bali rental villa, resting on 1270 square metres of land beside the rice fields. Positioned on a higher level of the area, the villa is blessed with beautiful views, enhanced on clear days by the magical sight of the Bali’s mountain range extending from Mt Agung in the east to Mt Batukaru in the west.

The contemporary Balinese architecture presents four air-conditioned bedrooms, complete with ensuite bathrooms, an additional bedroom suitable for a child, a sizeable living and dining room open to the garden, a gazebo with large built-in sofas, and a fully equipped kitchen. This two-storey holiday villa in Bali is complemented by a pretty garden with a flat lawn and a 14 x 6 metre swimming pool, together with a relaxation pavilion. The villa and garden are surrounded by high walls for privacy, and the name Bahagia is taken from the Indonesian word for happy.

Bedrooms
There are four air-conditioned master bedrooms at Villa Bahagia, complete with ensuite bathrooms, picture windows and large sliding glass doors. One of the bedrooms has an adjoining office that can be used as a single bedroom, suitable for a child.

Two bedrooms are located downstairs and two are situated upstairs; each is characterized by fresh white walls, flat ceilings and timber floors. Two of the bedrooms are furnished with queen size beds, while the other two bedrooms have twin beds, which can be converted to king size beds. Other furnishings include wardrobes, bedside tables, chests and chairs. Alcoves showcase Indonesia artefacts, and the walls are adorned with local artwork or framed black & white photographs of Bali.

The two Master rooms have the additional facility of a dressing area with a dressing table and large mirror. The upstairs Master Bedroom opens onto a romantic stone balcony furnished with a wicker chair and table. From here, there is a beautiful view across the rice fields. The spare room is accessed via the smaller of the two bedrooms on the upper floor; it opens onto a sunny Palimanan stone terrace bordered by plants and flowers.

Each bedroom is equipped with a safe deposit box.

Each ensuite bathroom has its own distinct characteristics; each is fashioned in light grey terrazzo, and fitted with a bath tub, walk-in shower, double washbasins and a toilet. The two downstairs bathrooms are each complemented by a pebbled courtyard planted with green foliage. Each is fitted with an oversized bathtub and an outdoor shower. Surrounded by walls, these garden bathrooms are totally private. The two upstairs bathrooms are cool and breezy due to the shuttered glassless windows. Each features a walk-in rainshower and an oversized bathtub.

Villa Bahagia Living & Dining Room
The spacious Living Room is located in the heart of the villa under a soaring roof. Open to the garden and swimming pool, this room is cooled by ceiling fans and natural breezes, and furnished with a woven cane sofa and chairs.

WiFi Internet access has also been installed at the property for the convenience of the guests.

Two steps lead up into the dining room, which is positioned next to the kitchen and furnished with a table for ten. Next to the dining room is another sitting area equipped with a satellite TV, DVD player and surround sound system.

Kitchen
The modern kitchen, where the staff will prepare a wide range of delicious meals from an innovative menu, is fully equipped with wooden cupboards and stainless steel fittings. A laundry is situated at the back of the kitchen.

Villa Bahagia Ground
The villa presents an enticing 14 x 6 metre swimming pool, which runs the width of the property at the top end. The garden also features terraces, areas for relaxing, a Palimanan sundeck with sun loungers and umbrellas, and a thatched bale – a traditional Balinese relaxation pavilion, with a daybed, situated on one side of the pool. Adjoining the villa is an elevated open sided gazebo with a high pitched roof, a ceiling fan, an antique table and built in cushioned seating.

There is a guest washroom leading off the courtyard at the main entrance, and a secure car parking area.

Within the gardens there is a temple, bale (traditional Balinese pavilion), sun beds, lotus ponds, 15-meter swimming pool, children’s playhouse, and a leveled lawn area for sports as such as volleyball, or croquet. The house itself is positioned around gardens and ponds with rooms joined by canopied walkways. Within the guest wing there are two bedrooms (one with a canopied queen bed and the other with two double beds, all with bedrooms with air-con, ensuite bathrooms, TV and DVD. In the other wing two master bedrooms are situated with similar layouts, one being upstairs and the other downstairs with balconies, sitting area and large dressing rooms and bathrooms.

The circular entertaining area/ living room and dining alcove have a spectacular outlook and a covered walkway, which leads to a carved stone wall sculpture and continuous flow indoor splash pool with adjacent opium bed for relaxing. Modern Luxury
This luxury six bedroom property has been created with meticulous attention to detail and can comfortably accommodate the needs of up to 12 adult guests. Access into the villa is via a paved laneway set back from the street to ensure complete privacy. An unimposing entrance gate opens up to reveal a spacious garden environment with a waterway running the entire length. Towering palms and indigenous flora have been planted randomly and are surrounded by manicured lawn. The main body of the villa envelopes this area and consists of several bedrooms with glass panelled doors that slide wide open when desired.

Master Suite Sanctuary
The master suite and an additional bedroom are located on the villa’s L-shaped second storey complete with wrap around terrace. While all bedrooms at Villa Karishma are well appointed with bathrooms and modern comforts that invite restful slumber, it is the master suite that truly represents personal indulgence. A sanctuary for the senses, this iconic suite features a contemporary décor of furnishings in black leather, quirky pieces of artistry and a cow hide rug upon a polished timber floor. The en-suite bathroom features an oversized Jacuzzi tub with angled jet sprays, separate shower recess, double vanity and walk-in wardrobe.

Stylish Living
The property is literally divided through the middle by a free standing structure that integrates a high-tech gourmet kitchen and breakfast alcove, bar, dining and living environment. Surrounded entirely by sliding glass and timber panels, this tasteful setting is bathed in natural sunlight and is fully air-conditioned to beat the heat of the day. Discreetly hidden within the kitchen is a CCTV monitor that gives guests peace of mind that the villa is fully secured at all times.

A bar has been created out of white blocks of paras Jogja and topped with black stone to serve pre-dinner cocktails or cater for social gatherings. A solid wood dining table, surrounded by an eclectic array of mismatched chairs, gives the setting a unique edge. The far end of this open-plan space is reserved as a sitting area with cushioned sofas and armchairs arranged around a low rise coffee table.

The back section of the property features another two bedrooms that are orientated over an enormous swimming pool edged by a sun deck. It is here that guests can spend lazy hours enjoying the riverside ambience and Bali’s tropical weather conditions. Several reclining lounge chairs have been set up around the pool with sunbrellas for those who prefer some degree of shade.
