Newly completed by the end of 2008, Massilia comprises of two fully self-contained villas with three and four bedrooms on a generous 1,500 square meters plot. Sliding fence in between allows both villas to be merged into a large seven bedrooms villa. Unique layout and position of the sliding fence allow both villas to ensure privacy when rented separately and a feeling of unity when rented as a whole.

Benefiting from square form and flat elevation of the land, smart minimalist layout has successfully applied to maximize land utilization allowing each villa felt even more spacious with its spacious poolside deck, generous lawn, and large swimming pools. Similar concept goes in to the interior as well where minimalist furnishing makes ample space felt even larger.

Approaching the villa is a narrow alley ending up in front of the main gate of the villa. Parking space, common staff area, and a couple of soaring inner-gate in solid wood to each villa are hidden inside.

The 4 Bedrooms Villa

First step into the four bedrooms villa is welcomed by a sparkling lotus pond. Surrounding 12 x 4 meters lap pool are a large antique wooden gazebo on the right hand side, the main house with spacious open living/dining area and two suites at the opposite side of the gate, a bedroom pavilion housing two bedrooms on the left hand side, and the sliding fence to the three bedrooms villa on the same side as the main gate.

Decently manicured lawn between the gate and the swimming pool is spacious enough as a playground for those staying with children. On all sides of the swimming pool made of natural “palimanan” stone are wooden pool decks suitable for poolside sunbath or barbecue. Eight sun-loungers and a large daybed are available both to enjoy the tropical sun-burn as well as for a layback with a book.

Spacious open living/dining area features lounge with comfortable couches, dining table seating eight, modern kitchen in traditional setting, and a powder room. Audio-video entertainment system with wide LCD panel with international TV channels, DVD player, 5.1 sound system, and iPod docking station are available for those who want modern entertainment. Erecting large poles of natural stone accentuate the décor as well as separating the kitchen from the rest.

On each side of the living/dining area are two suites with king beds, lounging couches, en-suite bathroom with bathtub and rain shower opening to closed garden, and wide sliding doors opening to spacious terrace looking out to the swimming pool. Housed in a separated building are two suites mirrored to each other, each with canopied king-size bed, closet, and en-suite bathroom with rain shower.

Well trained fleet of staffs including house maids and cooks dedicated to each unit as well as security guards, gardener, and concierge available to the whole villa. Except security guards, staffs work the normal working hours but can be flexibly arranged to fit guest requirements. The villa manager is available on call in 24h basis to address any unpredictable occurrence in reasonable manner.

Daily breakfast is provided up to the maximum number of occupancy with choice of American, Continental, and Indonesian dishes. Meals are prepared in grocery-shopping system where guests instructed the cook to shop for their meal and billed at the actual invoices collected from the shop.

VILLA BALI SEA BREEZE – LOCATION

Seminyak is the most upmarket of the west coast’s beaches, with high-end accommodation and mostly high-end restaurants and bars to serve its residents. The atmosphere is more sophisticated and laid-back than Kuta, and the beach in particular is quieter during the day, although this area too is developing fast.

The northern end of Seminyak’s Petitenget Beach is administratively a part of Kerobokan, although the actual village of this name is some four kilometers further inland.

Architecturally the property is split into two distinct structures that are almost identical.

Both are two storey dwellings showcasing the aesthetics of local design without compromising home comforts and conveniences. To the left is Villa 1, which is characterized by an open-plan kitchen and an oversized dining table catering to 10 guests in a social situation. While Villa 2 on the right uses the same area as a tastefully appointed indoor living room with a cushioned sofa to relax quietly alone or with a partner. Restful Slumber
Villa Arwana has been designed to accommodate up to eight adult guests with plenty of space for everyone to enjoy their own privacy. A master bedroom with an indulging semi-open en-suite bathroom and terrazzo tub is located on the ground floor of each dwelling. The villa is built on almost 3000 sq.m. (3/4 acre) so the gardens are generous and have been beautifully planted by a top professional and are maintained on organic principles. Beyond the courtyard and pool, a series of voluptuous ponds echoing the neighbouring rice fields and planted with lotus and water lilies cascades down to the orchard, and pretty paths wind between them. The orchard is planted with, among other fruits. There is also a herb garden for keen cooks.

Villa Sebali Accommodation
The house is built round three sides of a grassy, flower-ringed courtyard, with the fourth side an infinity pool looking down over a cascade of lotus and water-lily ponds to the orchard. It has four very special bedroom suites and combines the luxury of air-conditioned bedrooms with the delight of open air living. There is a fully equipped kitchen, a library/games room and a table tennis room.

Suite 1
A great suite with a fantastic cathedral ceiling and flower-edged terraces facing all four points of the compass with views to die for. A large dressing area leads to the bathroom which is partly open air with wash basin, WC, bath, separate shower. One of its four terraces is covered and has seating for relaxing and admiring the garden and view.

Suite 2
Beautifully dressed with twin beds which can also be joined to make one king size bed. The dressing area leads to the shower room with wash basin and separate WC. A door leads through to the Library Studio.

Suite 3
This is another generous room with cathedral ceiling and a queen sized bed. The spacious dressing area leads through to the bathroom with basin, WC, shower and garden. It has its own pretty patio.

Suite 4
As the name suggests, this huge room with its magnificent ceiling and king size bed faces east, towards Mt Agung, and has double doors opening onto a raised deck shaded by a flower-festooned pergola. Steps lead down to the pool and courtyard. There is a big dressing area leading through to the biggest bathroom of all which, again, is partly open to the sky and has its own garden. It is equipped with bath, basin, shower and separate WC.

All the bedrooms have mosquito nets and full air-conditioning, though the house is designed to optimise cooling: all the rooms are shaded by the deep eaves of the alang-alang roofs, and big windows allow refreshing air to flow through freely. There are ceiling fans in all rooms including the living areas.

Additional beds can be supplied, and there is also a very large comfortable daybed in the living area which would make an excellent extra bed. Guests who like the idea of sleeping under the stars could even sleep on the bale!

Library Studio
An enchanting rotunda which can also be reached directly by steps from the garden. Equipped with flat screen TV, books, games and comfortable seating, this room can either be used as a sitting room for the Forest Bedroom, or as a communal room for all guests.

Villa Sebali Dining Area
The dining area is spacious and equipped for up to 12 at table. It is open to the garden at one side and has two steps down to the living area. At the side is the kitchen.

Kitchen
The kitchen is fully equipped with large fridge-freezer and permanent chilled drinking water.

Villa Sebali Ground
The infinity swimming pool is 12m x 4m plus a side sitting area. For relaxing there are garden reclining chairs and big sunshades as well as the pretty bale. There is a built-in barbeque adjacent to the bale for al fresco cooking and dining.

The garden is lavishly planted with many sweet-smelling trees and flowers. Beside the pool is a pretty bal�, a traditional grass-roofed pavilion for shaded relaxation, while below it a path winds through the lotus ponds down to the orchard with its wide range of tropical fruit trees. As these mature, guests will be able to pick their own choice of fruit.

The peaceful Villa Bahagia is a luxury Bali rental villa, resting on 1270 square metres of land beside the rice fields. Positioned on a higher level of the area, the villa is blessed with beautiful views, enhanced on clear days by the magical sight of the Bali’s mountain range extending from Mt Agung in the east to Mt Batukaru in the west.

The contemporary Balinese architecture presents four air-conditioned bedrooms, complete with ensuite bathrooms, an additional bedroom suitable for a child, a sizeable living and dining room open to the garden, a gazebo with large built-in sofas, and a fully equipped kitchen. This two-storey holiday villa in Bali is complemented by a pretty garden with a flat lawn and a 14 x 6 metre swimming pool, together with a relaxation pavilion. Bedrooms
There are four air-conditioned master bedrooms at Villa Bahagia, complete with ensuite bathrooms, picture windows and large sliding glass doors. One of the bedrooms has an adjoining office that can be used as a single bedroom, suitable for a child.

Two bedrooms are located downstairs and two are situated upstairs; each is characterized by fresh white walls, flat ceilings and timber floors. Two of the bedrooms are furnished with queen size beds, while the other two bedrooms have twin beds, which can be converted to king size beds. Other furnishings include wardrobes, bedside tables, chests and chairs. Alcoves showcase Indonesia artefacts, and the walls are adorned with local artwork or framed black & white photographs of Bali.

The two Master rooms have the additional facility of a dressing area with a dressing table and large mirror. The upstairs Master Bedroom opens onto a romantic stone balcony furnished with a wicker chair and table. From here, there is a beautiful view across the rice fields. The spare room is accessed via the smaller of the two bedrooms on the upper floor; it opens onto a sunny Palimanan stone terrace bordered by plants and flowers.

Each bedroom is equipped with a safe deposit box.

Each ensuite bathroom has its own distinct characteristics; each is fashioned in light grey terrazzo, and fitted with a bath tub, walk-in shower, double washbasins and a toilet. The two downstairs bathrooms are each complemented by a pebbled courtyard planted with green foliage. Each is fitted with an oversized bathtub and an outdoor shower. Surrounded by walls, these garden bathrooms are totally private. The two upstairs bathrooms are cool and breezy due to the shuttered glassless windows. Each features a walk-in rainshower and an oversized bathtub.

Villa Bahagia Living & Dining Room
The spacious Living Room is located in the heart of the villa under a soaring roof. Open to the garden and swimming pool, this room is cooled by ceiling fans and natural breezes, and furnished with a woven cane sofa and chairs.

WiFi Internet access has also been installed at the property for the convenience of the guests.

Two steps lead up into the dining room, which is positioned next to the kitchen and furnished with a table for ten. Next to the dining room is another sitting area equipped with a satellite TV, DVD player and surround sound system.

Kitchen
The modern kitchen, where the staff will prepare a wide range of delicious meals from an innovative menu, is fully equipped with wooden cupboards and stainless steel fittings. A laundry is situated at the back of the kitchen.

Villa Bahagia Ground
The villa presents an enticing 14 x 6 metre swimming pool, which runs the width of the property at the top end. The garden also features terraces, areas for relaxing, a Palimanan sundeck with sun loungers and umbrellas, and a thatched bale – a traditional Balinese relaxation pavilion, with a daybed, situated on one side of the pool. Adjoining the villa is an elevated open sided gazebo with a high pitched roof, a ceiling fan, an antique table and built in cushioned seating.

The Beach House Restaurant, 200 metres from the villa at Echo Beach, is the place where the local community gathers in the evenings to watch the legendary sunsets. A variety of eating areas and tables spill out onto a beachside buff; there is a comprehensive international menu, together with a daily barbeque of fresh fish, lobster, giant prawns, clams, steaks, kebabs etc. Live music, performed by accomplished local bands, takes place on Sunday evenings, starting at around sunset. General Info
The contemporary-styled Villa Asante is completed with four bedrooms and a swimming pool. This delightful property is a study in perfect symmetry, comprised of three buildings set within an expansive walled garden, together with a 20 x 12 metre lap pool and ‘bale’ relaxation pavilion. The main two-storey building incorporates the bedrooms and a cozy TV room, while the two, single-storey, open-sided pavilions house the living room, and the dining area and kitchen.

The property is accessed via a private driveway leading into a secure car parking area, complete with a covered car port. The front door opens onto broad stepping stones that appear to float upon a fish pond flanked by flowering heliconia. The entrance hall is furnished with an antique circular marble table and guarded by four Balinese goddess statues positioned in alcoves in the wall. The inner hallway is an atrium, fitted out as a library with a large shelf unit, a desk, and a huge wall mirror that cleverly doubles the sense of space.

Villa Asante provides WiFi Internet access for guests who bring their own laptop computers.

Villa Asante Living & Dining Area
Living Pavilion
The Living Pavilion presents open air living at its very best. Open on three sides with a cream terrazzo floor under a soaring shingle roof, the pavilion is illuminated by mood lighting, adorned with colourful artwork, and cooled by natural breezes and ceiling fans. It is furnished with deeply cushioned segmented sofas, a coffee table and shelf units. Hidden behind cupboard doors is a 42″ satellite channel TV and DVD/CD player together with a Bose sound system.

Dining Pavilion
Stepping stones across an ornamental pond link the Living Pavilion with the open-sided Dining Pavilion and Kitchen. The spacious dining area is cooled by ceiling fans and furnished with a teakwood dining table for twelve. It is linked to the open-plan kitchen by a wide service bar complete with bar chairs.

Kitchen
The designer kitchen reveals a discriminating taste for functional beauty and cutting-edge style. Crafted in white with a central island and ample storage space, it is fully equipped with an imported oven and hob, and everything else that the chef needs in order to prepare delicious meals, in accordance with the whims of his guests. This modern kitchen provides the staff with the equipment and facilities to cater for a variety of small functions.

TV Room
The cozy, air-conditioned TV Room, fitted with ceiling fan and pivot windows, is positioned centrally upstairs. It is furnished with comfortable upholstered sofas, low tables, lamps, and a television cabinet with a flat screen 42″ TV with satellite channels and a DVD/CD player.

Villa Asante Accommodation
Two of the bedrooms are positioned downstairs and two are positioned upstairs, following the symmetrical design of the villa. Each presents a cool terrazzo floor, ceiling lights and white walls adorned with local artwork. Three of the bedrooms are furnished with king-size beds, while the fourth bedroom is furnished with twin, trundle beds, which sleep up to four kids as each bed incorporates a spare bed that rolls under the main frame. Other furnishings include built-in wardrobes, ottomans, desks and bedside tables, complemented by reading lamps and colour-themed cushions in rich silk fabrics. Sliding glass doors open from the upstairs bedrooms on to a wide balcony, furnished with a daybed and presenting lovely views of the garden, the neighbouring rice fields and the sea.

Each bedroom, complete with private en-suite bathroom, is equipped with individually controlled air-conditioning, a ceiling fan, a safe deposit box, DVD/CD player and flat screen TV with satellite channels.

Bathrooms
The four en-suite bathrooms are characterized by non-slip acid marble floors and creamy-white Palimanan stone walls. Each features a walk-in rainshower and toilet behind glass doors, twin wash-basins and wall mirrors. Additionally, the two generously-sized downstairs bathrooms are each complemented by courtyard gardens planted with travellers’ palms and shrubs. When the glass doors are opened the interior becomes one with nature. Surrounded by walls, these romantic garden bathrooms are totally private. In addition to an indoor standing rain-shower, each features an outdoor rain-shower, sheltered by a roof for an alfresco showering experience. Inside each downstairs bathroom, bordered by three walls of gleaming glass, is a dreamy oversized terrazzo bathtub fitted with a handheld shower.

A guest washroom is located downstairs behind the dining pavilion.

Villa Asante Ground
The 20 x 12 metre swimming pool is linked to an ornamental pool to create a T-shaped feature, which ensures that two sides of each of the twin, open-air, living and dining pavilions are bordered by water. Beside the pool is a timber deck furnished with six sunbeds and sunbrellas, while centrally positioned poolside is a big, open-sided ‘bale’ relaxation pavilion with a cushioned floor.

The walled garden is planted with fragrant frangipani trees, travellers’ palms and a line of coconut palms. The flat velvety lawn covers a sizeable area and is ideal for outdoor games or as a venue for Balinese dance performances, parties or weddings.

Villa Asante Services
Villa Asante is supported by a carefully selected team of highly trained, friendly staff who will do their best to ensure that their guests experience a truly enjoyable stay in Bali. The team is headed by a villa manager who will oversee and coordinate the staff and property, and is available to assist guests during their stay. The team also includes a cook, housekeepers, a gardener/pool attendant and security guards. The cook is trained in the preparation of both local and international cuisine, and is responsible for all the market shopping, in accordance with the needs and the whims of the guests.
